I didn't use Beach Cruise-r this time, just Pool Party, Splish Splash and I'm with the Lifeguard. I've posted about Pool Party before, see here. Splish Splash and I'm with the Lifeguard both have a lovely shimmer in there as well as the neon, as you can see in the close up.
Splish Splash covers really well and is opaque in two coats. I'm with the Lifeguard is a bit more sheer, so this is three coats.
I've discovered that the best way to photograph these neons seems to be to put my hand right up close to a lightbulb! This is the most colour accurate photo.
I didn't put these over white this time. No particular reason, I just didn't bother this time round.
Nice combo of colors. They really play well together. I also really like your pattern with the 3 colors. I have 3 plum/purples that'll pair well, but I was unsure as to how to get them all to show nice. So, thanks bunches! =)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wasn't really trying to make a pattern, just to not put the same colours side by side, but it seemed to work out! My other hand goes pink-blue-pink-green-blue.

ReplyDeleteActually, do you find yourself in need of a turquoise with silver/gold glass glass shimmer? I seem to have 3 almost identical ones (Avon Sequinned Turquoise is one, best example)

DeleteJust googled that one, and it's not really a colour I wear much to be honest. I have a couple in a similar shade anyway. Zoboes might appreciate it perhaps?
