Game, Set, Match! Tennis Nails!

I bought a set of flocking powders a month or two ago, but never got round to using them. There are six colours of sparkly powder (pale pink, blue, yellow, green, orange and bright pink) for about £5 from Hobbycraft.

I'm kicking myself that I didn't get better photos of these. I painted them last night, and then added the flocking this morning before I left for work. I snapped this pic in my car outside the office, without seeing the horrendously dry state of my cuticles.

Then by the time I got home, the nice fluffy yellow was a bit manky, and the green was peeling a bit round the edges. I'm assuming that this was due to the multiple layers.

I have two coats of white creme (Models Own Pro French White) and then Barry M Spring Green and Barry M Bright Yellow. The yellow nail is then covered in flocking powder.

I think the idea was better than the execution, but hey, who cares?

I will be cheering on Federer on Sunday. C'mon Rog!

    1. No, I don't have a white that's opaque enough to cover green in one coat. Plus the green stains a bit, so I prefer to put it over white so it doesn't.
