China Glaze Tinsel Town & Pink Accent Finger

This is China Glaze's Tinsel Town, which is from their 2011 Christmas (Let it Snow!) collection. I got it recently from my cool American swap partner, Ari.

Tinsel Town is a sheer dark bluey-grey base, with lots (LOTS!) of silver and silvery grey glitter. This is two coats, with top coat. I decided that I didn't want to wear it entirely on its own, as it looked a bit dark, even with all the sparkle, so I painted my ring fingers in Barry M Bright Pink for contrast. I feel very 80s!

I love how sparkly and textured Tinsel Town is. It dries quite matte and rough, which I liked. Today though I added topcoat, just because I wanted the shinier look.

  2. Looks absolutely lovely!

I love how dense some of China Glaze's glitter polishes are. My favourite so far is Liquid Crystal!

    1. Thanks! Yes, I love China Glaze glitters, they're so good. I don't know Liquid Crystal, but I've just googled, and yep, looks lovely.
