This is another of the Nails Inc set that I got in TKMaxx for a bargain price. This is two coats of Wardour Mews, with topcoat, and - because why on earth not? - a matching ring.
Wardour Mews is a gorgeous deep purple-y lilac jelly packed full of tiny gold glitter that gives a lovely foil finish. This polish is a bit less duochrome on the nail than it is in the bottle, but it still moves between a rich purple colour and a lovely warm pinky gold, and like many polishes of this kind, really comes alive in the sunshine.
Application was the usual Nails Inc good quality. Nice and smooth, dries quickly with no lumps or streaks or bald patches. Nice brush, and the polish lasted well too - I wore this for two days before taking it off, and it still looked perfect.
I really love this colour! This is definitely one to keep!
This looks really pretty :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wasn't blown away by the look of it in the bottle, but I love it on the nails!
DeleteThis isn't something I'd normally have picked up, but its lovely!
ReplyDeleteMore awards for you! Sorry if you've done it! http://www.hens-nest.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/liebster-award.html
Oooh, thank you!
DeleteI have to agree with Laura-- that's very pretty. I have a similar color in my collection, and yet in the bottle it doesn't inspire me. But now I feel like I want to try it. =)
ReplyDeleteYou should! This one I'd never have bought, based on the bottle, and I wasn't expecting to like it, but I really do!
DeleteI love this one, it's one that gets lots of compliments too. If only the bottle caps were easier, I'd wear it a lot more.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the bottle caps are a pain!
