Seche have started making nail polish now as well as Seche Vite. Now I really like Seche Vite, and hardly ever do my nails without it.
This is Seche Simplicity, a nude creme. This is three coats, with Seche Vite topcoat.
I found this very tricky to apply. The formula is quite thin and watery, and flooded my cuticles when I did a heavier coat. When I did a thin coat, I found it quite draggy and this left bare patches. The first coat was very streaky, but by the third this had evened out.
I also found that this didn't dry well, even with Seche Vite. An hour after painting, while I was taking photos, I managed to dent the nails on my right hand, and another has crinkled up completely.
I think the colour is ok - it's nice enough. It's a yellowy shade of nude, which I think is ok. It's not my favourite nude though - I don't think it's as flattering as Essie Sand Tropez (although that's darker) or Opi Tickle My France-y, or Barry M Nude, which is a very similar colour to this one.
Aw, disappointing. Surprising about the drying too considering they are the makers of SV.
ReplyDeleteI know, I was a bit surprised. Maybe I need thinner layers and more time. I'll persevere.
