You may remember that I reviewed a gorgeous polish by British brand Jacava a few months ago (review here). Well, I'm thrilled to be showing you another Jacava polish again today. This is Raspberry Bavarois.
I'm wearing two coats of Raspberry Bavarois for these photos. One would have been enough, but I am a creature of habit, so I went for two. The application and formula is superb - the polish is super smooth and creamy, and the brush is fantastic. The long handle both looks elegant and a bit fancy, but also means that you have really easy control over the brush - I didn't need to do any clean up on these nails, the colour really did go on that neatly!
The polish dried quickly and stayed smooth. I added a coat of Seche Vite to help protect it, and have now been wearing this polish for nearly 48 hours - it still looks perfect! That's no mean feat considering that my nails are so long at the moment. I've been typing, washing up, cooking, doing laundry and putting my hands in and out of my handbag all day and my nails still look freshly done!
Raspberry Bavarois is a lovely, deep rich pink colour, highly pigmented and with a lovely glossy finish. Jacava polishes are 8-free, which is free of formaldehyde, camphor, tuolene, DBP, collophane, parabens, phthalates, or animal ingredients, and also doesn't test on animals. You can buy Jacava polishes on Amazon or at feelunique for £14.50, which isn't cheap, but is half the price of top-end brands like Chanel or Dior, and I feel these are every bit as good as those.
Another way of getting your hands on some of these lovely polishes is to enter the super easy Jacava competition which is running currently - see my post here for details!
This polish was provided for review purposes. My review is still 100% honest, and all opinions are my own.
