Barry M - Lilac Foil

This is Barry M's Limited Edition Lilac Foil. I got it in Superdrug last year, it came free when you bought (I think) two other Barry M nail varnishes.  I tried looking for it again recently to send to a friend in the States, and I can't find it anywhere, so I suspect it really was a limited edition!

This is two coats, with topcoat.

This a lovely smooth metallic lilac polish. Application is a little tricky at first, as it's so smooth that it can show brush strokes, and any lumps look really obvious. I did two very thin coats, and the second coat certainly covered some of the imperfections from the first coat. Topcoat also helped. It's still not perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I love how shiny and smooth this is, and the colour is really pretty and springlike. 

I haven't given in to the stamping craze yet (I keep looking at Konad sets on Amazon, and managing to resist, but oooooh, I want some!) but I'm betting that this would look really pretty with something stamped over it in black.
