Pink Stripes

I painted my nails with two coats of Barry M's Strawberry Ice Cream. Initially I'd intended to leave these like that, but although they were pretty, they were a bit tame, so I added lots of tape, and a coat of Barry M Shocking Pink, and ended up with this.

I deliberately didn't make all the stripes exactly the same. I thought that if I tried to make them the same, it would be impossible and end up looking like a fail, so I decided to make the stripes more obviously different.

This was really easy to do, and not at all time consuming, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

    I think the non-matching stripes was definitely a good choice--makes it even more interesting to look at.

      Thank you! I'd never have got matching stripes right anyway, it would just look like someone had attempted it and messed it up!

    I think the stripes give the girlie-girl pinks a neat "edge".
