Just a quick post today! I realised that what I was wearing today was a polish I've never posted here, and it was looking pretty, so I snapped some photos before I left for work.
This is Deborah Lippmann's Bad Romance - nothing new, but a lovely polish in my opinion. It's a black jelly base with bright fuschia purple glitter in different sizes. Here I'm wearing one coat of Bad Romance over one coat of Barry M Vivid Purple.
ooooo i love it! i really love glitter that have a coloured base. until i have to remove them..
ReplyDeleteIt's nice, isn't it? I find this one easier to remove if it's on over a base colour. Plus then there's the tinfoil method - have a google if you don't know it, it makes glitter removal so much easier!
DeleteHave you tried using PVA glue as a base? That helps glitter removal.
ReplyDeleteLove this polish, I wore the Revlon dupe for my wedding :D
I haven't tried a pva base, but it's on my list of things to do!
DeleteI didn't like the Revlon version very much, I have to say. Maybe it was my application skills...
Wow, I love Deborah Lipman Polishes and always find that they're really long lasting. This one ooks so pretty:) xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, I've always been really pleased with how well these last. I don't have many Lippmanns, but the ones I have, I'm very happy with.
DeleteThis is beautiful! I have the Revlon dupe of this and love it a lot :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I didn't get on too well with the Revolon - maybe I should try it again!
DeleteLooks very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think that Revlon Facets of Fuschia is very similar :)
hugs!
Love this, are you tempted to swatch it alongside FoF just out of interest or would that just be me?
ReplyDeleteNo I keep meaning to get round to it. I wasn't very impressed with Facets of Fuschia really.
