I haven't used my flocking powders in an age! In fact not since I used the yellow to make a tennis ball nail back during last year's Wimbledon. Today I've made a skittle using 5 of my flocking powders and co-ordingating bright polishes. It was prompted by Robyn Munro from Diary of a Disney Diva (you should totally check out her blog by the way!)
Left to right there's Barry M Cyan Blue, China Glaze Def Defying, Missguided Missmatch, Avon Viva Pink and Barry M Yellow.
This flocking powder came in a set of 6 from Hobbycraft for less than a fiver - I can't remember the exact price. It's not as furry as some of the flocked nails I've seen around, but I like how it feels, it's all fuzzy!
I also really like that this powder is sparkly!
Oh my gosh Elanor! They're amaaaazing! I just love them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the mention as well.
They're quite perky I think! They feel suitable for a nice sunny day like today.
DeleteI'm thinking of doing some kind of promote-your-blog post soon too, see if people can get a few more followers and find some new blogs to follow.
That's a really good idea.
DeleteI saw a similar thing elsewhere and it seemed really nice - lots of people finding new people everywhere. :)
DeleteAww love the sparkle!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's pretty isn't it?
DeleteThe only thing better than sparkles-- are fuzzy sparkles ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese are too cute!
Lol, thanks!
DeleteThey're like muppets, in a good way. Muppets as a compliment!
ReplyDeleteOoooh yes! Now I just need someone to make my googly eye rhinestones idea and I'll be set.
DeleteLove the sparkles!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think they make it a bit less ordiary than just fluff on its own.
