Tart-y For the Party Dotted Nails

Today I have China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, paired with Keep Calm, Paint On. Tart-y for the Party is a pretty lilac creme, with plenty of pigment and a lovely smooth finish. This is two coats, with topcoat.  On my accent nail I've used two coats of pretty green Keep Calm, Paint On, and dotted on some more Tart-y for the Party before adding topcoat.

I'm assuming that the name Tart-y for the Party is a pun on the American word 'tardy' meaning late, rather than the UK word 'tarty', which means something else entirely!  Anyway, TftP is a really pretty lilac, very pigmented and with an excellent formula. I could almost have used one coat for this, but I added two because a couple of nails still had very slightly bare patches.

This lasted really well, and I thought looked nice and spring-like. The sun's out here now, especially now that the clocks have changed, and though it's still cold, I think Spring might actually be on the way!

    1. Thank you! I wanted to use them together but couldn't decide how - the dots were a happy accident really.

  2. The accent nail is perfect. They go together really well. (I'm trying very hard not to be tempted to buy them all. You know how it is.)

    1. Thank you!

Yes - although it's darker in the mornings since the clocks changed, at least it's sunny when it is light. It's the lighter evenings that really make a difference for me though.
