Triangle Stud Mani + OPI The Impossible

For the last couple of days I've been wearing OPI's The Impossible (see review here) liquid sand polish. I didn't like this much initially, but it's really growing on me! Tonight I decided to jazz it up a bit by adding some studs, so I added a silver triangular stud on each nail.

These studs are from the set I was sent by Born Pretty Store (reviews here and here). The studs are thin enough that you can gently bend them to fit the curve of your nail. I usually use topcoat to stick these on, but because my polish would be spoilt by topcoat, I used a dot of nail glue to fix these on instead.

I like the contrast between the rough and the shiny here! The studs feel really well attached, so I'm pretty confident that they'll stay on overnight and through work tomorrow.

If you fancy getting some of these studs (and why wouldn't you, let's be frank!) then you can get them at the Born Pretty Store here - they're item number 5003. They cost $4.89 for a large assortment, and you can still use my 10% off code, AKJ61, for this and any other product on the site.

I received these studs for review purposes, but words and opinions are entirely my own. I do not receive anything if you use my discount code, although when it's been used ten times, BPS will let me host a giveaway for my readers! See my Disclosure page for more details.

  1. I'm leaning more and more towards getting a textured nail polish. The OPIs always look so pretty.

    1. I didn't like them to start with, but they're really growing on me. The OPIs are nice in that they still have sparkle and glitter. I think the Zoya Pixies look lovely too, although I've not seen them for same in the UK.

I don't think I'd buy a full size OPI sand, but I got these as a set of 4 minis, which seemed a good way of trying them out.

  2. I'm waiting til I find a glittery sand in one of my local shops, not sure I can cope with matte and rough together. The studs really set it off, great contrast.
