I've just seen...
The heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, Viagra-taking, love-making, LEGENDARY... E! STREET! BAND!
While I was away last week I was lucky enough to be able to make it to two more Springsteen shows (Wembley and Coventry) which were as always, completely and utterly fabulous. Today I have done E Street Band nails for my favourite band. Towards the end of the show, Bruce often runs through the heart-stopping... legendary E Street Band thing, which is accompanied by big cartoon-y, pop-art style graphics, which I have attempted to copy here.
For these I used:
Nail Envy as my usual base, Essie Blanc on my thumb, topped with Barry M Yellow, then Barry M Cyan and Rimmel Heart on Fire. The explosion graphic and the writing was done freehand using Barry M Nail Art Pens in black and white. I've then topped everything with Seche Vite.
I'm a little disappointed that the black pen has bled slightly, but this is only really visible in the macro shots. Cuticle clean-up was really difficult too - the black nail art pen got everywhere, and was really awkward to remove from my skin.
They ain't a beauty, but hey... they're alright!
I was thinking how neat they were when you mentioned black bleeding and I was all *whut?*. They look really neat to me
