Wimbledon Nails!

I've been off work sick the last couple of days, so I have mostly been lying on the settee feeling sorry for myself and alternating between dozing and watching Wimbledon.  Last year I did quite basic tennis nails, but this year I went a bit mad with the striping tape and got this:

This is meant to be a representation of the net! I just realised though that the net strings are actually black in real life, and they aren't on a diagonal... but hey.

This is two coats of Essie Blanc on my fingers, and two coats of Barry M Yellow on my thumb. I then added yellow sparkly flocking powder to my thumb for the tennis ball. Then I taped off my nails using striping tape in a criss cross pattern, and a wider strip of tape over the tip, and went over that with Barry M Spring Green, which is my go-to grass colour. After removing the tape and letting it dry, I covered the pattern with topcoat.
