I thought I'd try a leopard print for the first time. I was a bit apprehensive about how hard it would be, so I only did accent nails. However, it was easy peasy!
This is two coats of my go-to red, Rimmel Pro Heart on Fire, on three nails. On my thumb and ring finger I used two coats of Essie Sand Tropez to start. Then I used the very fine dotting tool from my Born Pretty Store set of nail art brushes, and added random blobs of Jacava Chocolate Melts. I left that to dry, and then used the dotting tool and Rimmel Black Out to make the semi-outlines.
I then added some round studs (also from BPS) to the red nails, glueing them down with topcoat. Then I topcoated everything. The pattern was so easy! I think next time I'd make it a bit bigger, but I love how it looks! I also love the combination of the red, the studs, and the leopard print.
What do you think?
gah, i LOVE Essie sand tropez!
