Jacava Chocolate Melts with Herringbone MoYou London Stamping

I was feeling a bit despairing about my nails, after a week of no mojo and then the Hypergel fails, and then a stamping disaster (I did a beautiful Rouge Noir + gold stars stamping, then ruined it all with topcoat making everything streaky) so I was really needing something that I knew would work! So I turned to Jacava!  I bloody love the Jacava polishes!

This is two coats of Chocolate Melts, a lovely mid-brown creme. I then stamped using the herringbone pattern on my new MoYou London stamping plate, the Pro XL 01. I love this plate! There are so many simple but lovely patterns there. I used Barry M Gold Foil to stamp.

This look reminds me of those herringbone patterned wood block floors we had in the hall at primary school. I feel a sudden desire to strip to my vest and pants and do rolly-pollies into a crash mat. Um... aaaanyway.

Jacava polishes are so nice! Every one I've tried has been superb quality. There's a new range out very soon, I can't wait to try them!

Thank goodness for these nails to be honest, because I was starting to think I'd never paint my nails successfully again!

  2. I'm glad this design has cheered you up! I think we all have those down days when it comes to doing nail art, but I agree with you, going back to a nail polish/brand you love it always the best thing to do! This look is stunning by the way, I love the colour combination and your stamping skills are amazing! :)

  3. Beautiful, and I know what you mean about the floors, they have the same floor in Rach's school hall & I instantly regress.
