Snooker Nails!

So, it's that time of year again, when I obsess over the snooker, spend hours adding 8 to 27 in increments, and do my snooker nails.  You can see previous years' efforts here

I went to the Crucible yesterday (morning and afternoon sessions) and these were the nails I wore.

The green is Barry M Spring Green (which I wore over two coats of white, but which still stained!) and the red glequins are from the Born Pretty Store, and stuck down with topcoat.  The other nails have a base of Essie Blanc, and Barry M Mist on the ring finger.

The bow ties and waistcoats are W7 black for the index and little fingers, Zoya Storm on my middle finger, and W7 Navy on my ring finger.  Keen eyed snooker fan readers may recognise a specific player's outfit on my ring finger. His bow tie was done with mix of Essie Blanc and W7 Navy. The waistcoats were done by taping off the nails with sellotape, and the bow ties were painted on with a fine nail art brush.

  1. They look a bit like long, pointy faces wearing shades, I do have a strange imagination though.
    They're cool.
