A ruffian is basically a reverse half-moon - it's been called a ruffian since it was used in New York Fashion Week a couple of years ago by a brand called Ruffian (I don't know anything about that sort of thing - fashion isn't my area!) I've just freehanded this one, and whilst it's not the neatest thing in the world, it makes both the silver and the purple a bit more interesting, I think.
